“I recently learned I have the APOE4 gene, which is associated with an increased risk of Alzheimer’s. I feared that it was only a matter of time until I wouldn’t be able to remember my grandchildren. I worked with Dr. Fotuhi and Dr. Wynn to create a personalized prevention plan to increase my brain’s capacity. Now I have a game plan to improve my chances of aging with a healthy brain.”

Better Brain Performance: Putting Science into Practice
When you tell your patients they are showing signs of cognitive decline, you can now give them a reason for hope.
NeurExpand’s evidence-based treatment protocol has improved memory, executive function, and other cognitive abilities in patients experiencing signs of impairment from age or injury. This brain fitness program is the first such clinical treatment developed from years of neuroscience studies.
A growing body of research in leading scientific journals has shown that the hippocampus can grow new neurons in adult brains - at any age. The greater the number of neurons, the larger the hippocampus; the larger the hippocampus, the greater the brain’s ability to preserve and protect brain functions.
Multiple brain imaging studies have shown that a larger more active brain is better able to withstand the effects of aging and injury – even the presence of Alzheimer’s disease. In these studies, individuals with large hippocampi showed no signs of dementia or Alzheimer’s, despite high concentrations of amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles associated with those conditions.
Making patients aware of new, effective treatment options reinforces their trust in you to deliver the most advanced medical solutions available. The brain fitness program is also patient-centered treatment, a high-touch regimen of cognitive training, neurofeedback, brain coaching and other procedures. The nature of these treatments takes more time than the condensed appointment schedule that is the unfortunate “new norm” for providers. As a result, patients can raise medical concerns they may feel too rushed to bring up. We pay close attention to this, to make sure you are aware and can follow up.
Our high patient satisfaction rates reflect well on you as well as our team. They reassure your patient that we are coordinating their care to ensure the best possible outcome.
